Do you need to be touched? Some people are super affectionate and can't live without being touched. Then, there are some zodiac signs who cringe at the idea of a touchy feely relationship.
I would fall into the latter category. I am by no means affectionate. Maybe this has something to do with the horoscope I was born with, or that there's some explanation found in astrology.
Regardless of the reason, one thing is certain — if you looked up the word “affectionate” in the thesaurus, my name might be under the section labeled “antonyms for affectionate” but it is definitely not with the definition for affectionate or any other synonym of that word.
And it’s not even that I find PDA gross or over-the-top.

I’m a huge fan of people doing whatever they want and if whatever they want means grabbing their boo’s tush in public or holding hands while watching Netflix, then by all means, go for it.

For me, there’s a different aversion to affection.
I’ve never been much for affection anyway, let alone in romantic relationships, so the thought of physically showing someone that I care about them is an awkward thing for me.
And I am prepared to sound like a total nerd, but I find it much easier to be affectionate with my dog — kisses, belly rubs, and way too many treats — than I do with people.
Of course, being born with an Aquarius horoscope probably doesn’t help that much.
And it certainly explains part of the reason why I’m so emotionally unavailable at times, too.
But being affectionate isn’t only about showing your love for someone physically — and it isn’t just reserved for romantic relationships, either.
